One evening while getting the girls ready for bed, Clanci looked out the window and said "Elk". Travis was sitting on the floor and couldn't see out of the window, so he said...."Did Clanci just say elk?" I was in the kitchen and turned to see our two girls watching a herd of elk, right outside our living room window. It was a bachelor herd and they have lost their antlers and are beginning to re-grow. One of them looks to be a very big bull.
The brown dirt at the bottom of the photo is our to-be garden. Let's just hope the elk clear out before our garden begins to grow!

Clanci has an eye for the elk, and the elk antlers eh? She will be a good hunting partner for travis.
