The little rugrats needed helmets to ride the 4-wheeler. They looked pretty cute bouncing around on the 4-wheeler. We spent a long weekend up on the mountain as a family and it was so fun. Camping feels like Christmas morning with our girls. They are so excited, they sort of bounce around in our camp like ping-pong balls that have been charged with electricity. The energy wears down a little as the time goes on which makes it necessary to stay more than one night.
As always, Cassidi just wanted to go fishing. We went to Potters Pond and caught 7 fish. Some were big enough to keep, but most we put back. Cassidi still gets a thrill out of fishing with Dad and love to hold those slimy things in her cute little death-grip hands.
Clanci loves fishing too, but would rather have Dad do the holding. She still isn't convinced that holding slimy things is a good idea and frankly I agree with her.

Too bad summer has to go by so quickly eh? How fun camping is for your girls, next summer will be just as fun I bet or more fun.
