We pulled the girls on a sled behind the 4-wheeler all the way up the mountain to find a Christmas tree. They laughed all the way up, but by the time we got to the top they were frozen. Cassidi is warming her hands in my coat and Clanci looks pretty frozen.
Clanci's Birthday was a lot of fun. She was very excited. She wanted a pink birthday cake. She was very upset when Cassidi blew out the candles on her cake, so we lit them all again and let her do it by herself this time. Her older sister is a little over zeolous some times.
We had a Christmas party and the girls got to sit on Santa's lap. Cassidi was so excited and had cataloged the list of toys she wanted for Christmas. Clanci was terrified and only said she'd sit on Santa's lap if she could do it at the same time as Cassidi. They both survived the experience. Clanci, totally relieved to be off of his lap, accepted her bag of candy from Santa and ran to the waiting arms of Mommy and Cassidi left Santa's lap so confused as to why Santa did not hand over all the toys she just asked for.
