When Clanci and I were driving to the ER to get stitches in her head (previous post) she was crying because she was scared of the doctor. I asked her if she could be brave like Merida. Merida fought a bear and was so brave. Clanci summoned up her courage and told me yes, she could be like Merida. Hence the Merida Party. We are celebrating one brave little girl, who didn't even cry during her stitches procedure. We made Merida hair and crowns. We made little cupcake bears (Merida's three little brothers) and played all sorts of Merida games. The girls had a wonderful time.

I am so glad you updated your blog. We don't hear from you much so that means you have to blog more often so we know what is going on with you guys. Looks like they had a great party. Crazy that she is 5 already. Her face looked horrible from her stitches. Cassidi looks pleased as punch to get on that bus. So cute.
